There’s something about the hush of trees that makes it easier to breathe.
When I first began walking in the woods—not for exercise, but for solace—I noticed how the forest didn’t ask anything of me. It didn’t need me to smile, explain, or be productive. It simply offered space: quiet, dappled, alive.
That’s where Woodland Scéalta began. Not as a business idea, but as a question: What if healing didn’t have to happen in a room? What if it could happen under a canopy of leaves, with your feet on the earth and your story gently unfolding?
Where Story Meets Forest

I’ve always believed in the power of story—not just the ones we tell others, but the ones we tell ourselves. Through my training in Narrative Therapy, I learned how the narratives we carry shape our lives, our pain, and our healing.
And through my Forest Therapy training, I discovered how nature could hold those stories with a kind of wisdom and softness that’s hard to find elsewhere. The forest doesn’t try to fix you or rush you. It simply witnesses.
So I began weaving the two together.
Healing Pathways in Nature

Woodland Scéalta offers seasonal group programs—Healing Pathways—for people navigating grief, life transitions, postpartum challenges, cancer recovery, trauma, or simply the overwhelm of being human.
We walk. We breathe. We share stories. We listen. We let the forest do what it does best: remind us that we are part of something living, cyclical, and resilient.
Each pathway is designed to meet you where you are—whether you’re processing loss, navigating a major life change, recovering from illness, or finding your way through difficult emotions.
You’re Welcome Here
If you’re curious, you don’t need to be “outdoorsy” or “spiritual” or even sure what you’re looking for. You just need to come as you are.
The woods will meet you there.
Woodland Scéalta launches in June/July 2026.
