About me

Nature has always been my refuge. Growing up in South Africa, I often turned to the bush for peace, clarity, and healing whenever life felt overwhelming.

When I moved to Ireland two years ago, I immediately fell in love with the ancient woodlands here. Since then, their quiet wisdom, dappled light, and deep sense of sanctuary have shaped both my life and my work.

I know firsthand how transformative it feels to be held by the forest. The nervous system softens, the mind settles, and clarity begins to rise. Because of this, I believe the forest offers healing in its most natural form.

My Path to Forest Therapy

I trained in Narrative Therapy, and through that work I learned how the stories we tell about ourselves shape our lives. These stories influence how we heal, how we cope, and how we move forward.

When I discovered Forest Therapy, something clicked. In fact, I realised these two practices were meant to support each other. The forest naturally grounds us, so it creates the ideal space for reshaping our narratives and finding new meaning in our experiences.

Why Woodland Scéalta

Woodland Scéalta brings together my love for nature‑based healing and my commitment to supporting people through life’s tender seasons.

So whether you’re navigating stress, grief, anxiety, life transitions, or simply seeking a slower, steadier pace, I’m honoured to walk alongside you in the forest. The woods offer a kind of presence that helps us reconnect with ourselves in a gentle, grounded way.

Training & Approach

I’m currently training in Narrative Therapy and Forest Therapy, and I work with a trauma‑informed, compassionate approach.

As a result, my sessions blend the restorative benefits of forest immersion with insight‑oriented therapeutic practices. This creates a unique space where nature becomes an active part of your healing journey.
