Pathway: Life Transitions

A quiet woodland with tall slender trees and soft sunlight filtering through the canopy.

This pathway offers nature‑based support for life transitions, including menopause, relocation, relationship change, and other major life shifts.

It provides a quiet, non‑clinical setting for regulation, reflection, and re-connection during periods of change.

What this nature‑based support pathway offers

The Life Transitions Pathway provides facilitated time in a natural woodland environment. Sessions are slow, simple, and lightly structured to reduce cognitive and emotional demand.

Participants are invited to:

  • Spend time outdoors without pressure to talk or perform
  • Notice sensory experience and natural rhythms
  • Move or rest at their own pace
  • Be with their transition without needing to explain or resolve it

There is no requirement to speak about personal circumstances. There is also no expectation of emotional disclosure.

What this is not

This is not therapy, coaching, or a menopause‑specific intervention. It does not aim to treat symptoms, manage transitions, or produce particular outcomes.

The pathway does not aim to:

  • Fix or accelerate adaptation
  • Provide psychological treatment
  • Encourage narrative processing or problem‑solving

It offers supportive presence, not intervention.

How sessions are structured

Each session includes:

  • A gentle arrival and orientation
  • Time for slow walking or stillness
  • Optional, simple sensory‑based activities
  • Space for quiet reflection

Participants may choose how they engage at all times. Silence is welcome.

Session length: 90–120 minutes.

Talking, silence, and choice

Some people find comfort in shared silence. Others may wish to speak briefly or connect informally.

There is no facilitated group sharing. There is no pressure to speak, and no expectation to listen to others’ stories. Conversation, if it happens, is optional and unstructured.

Participants are free to pause, step away, or leave early if needed.

One‑to‑one support

The Life Transitions Pathway is also available in a one‑to‑one format.
This option follows the same principles of simplicity, choice, and reduced demand.

Practical considerations

  • Sessions take place outdoors and involve gentle walking
  • The pace is slow and adaptable
  • Paths are chosen for ease where possible
  • Weather‑appropriate clothing is advised

If you are unsure whether this pathway is suitable for you, you’re welcome to get in touch before booking.

Closing note

Life transitions do not follow a predictable timeline. This pathway offers space for change to be experienced without explanation, correction, or expectation.
